Luna-Mey Bakker is the founder and strategic director of LUNA+MEY, a boutique agency specialising in communication strategy, growth architecture and brand positioning across fashion, hospitality and lifestyle sectors.

With a background in strategic communication and journalism, Luna combines analytical structure with creative sensitivity – guiding founders and companies in defining their market position, refining their narrative and building long-term relevance.

She holds a degree in Strategic Communication from Columbia University (New York) and graduated in Digital Communication & Journalism from CEU San Pablo (Madrid). Her international academic experience includes Central Saint Martins (London), where she explored visual interpretation and design, and an exchange programme at IULM (Milan) focused on Communication, Media & Advertising.

Having worked across agencies, startups and independent ventures, Luna’s expertise lies in partnering closely with leadership teams to translate vision into structured growth. While she maintains a particular affinity for entrepreneurial projects, her work extends across companies at different stages of development — always with a focus on clarity, positioning and measurable impact.

As Account Director at LUNA+MEY, she leads social media and communication strategies for fashion, lifestyle, and gastronomy brands across Europe and Latin America, helping them grow through storytelling, influencer marketing, and culturally relevant content.

Before joining L+M, she was Head of Growth at Caintè, where she designed and executed viral campaigns, TikTok strategies, and influencer programs that significantly boosted brand visibility and sales.

Her previous experience at Idearium 2.0, working with Porsche Ibérica, and at agencies like The Communications Lab and Notabene, gave her a strong foundation in creative strategy, campaign management, and brand positioning within the fashion and lifestyle industries.

Lucía holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising and Public Relations from Universidad CEU San Pablo (Madrid) and completed an International Exchange Program at Inholland University of Applied Sciences (Amsterdam).
